Modify settings for an Incus hypervisor

Change the credential or access node that Commvault uses to connect to an existing Incus environment.

Requirements

Before you change the hypervisor settings:

• Credential: To use a different credential, have an Incus credential with the required permissions available. For more information, see Configure credentials and permissions for Incus.

• Access node: To use a different access node, prepare the access node for Incus data protection operations. For more information, see Prepare your Incus environment for protection.

Modify the hypervisor settings

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Virtual machines.

2. Select the Incus hypervisor.

3. Open the hypervisor configuration settings.

4. Change one or more of the following settings:

   • Credential: Select the Incus credential that Commvault uses to connect to the Incus environment.

   • Access nodes: Select the access node that Commvault uses for Incus data protection operations.

5. Click Save.
