You can move a deduplication database (DDB) to a different location on the same MediaAgent or to another MediaAgent. Moves between Windows and Linux are supported when the source and destination MediaAgents use the same endianness.
During a DDB move, the software suspends jobs associated with that DDB until the move completes. Jobs that use other DDBs in the same storage pool continue running. If the DDB contains active partitions that aren't included in the move, the software resumes the suspended jobs when the move starts and uses those active partitions.
