VPN Client: Installing the VPN Access Software

After the CommCell administrator preconfigures the computers that you plan to use as VPN Clients, you can install the VPN Access software using one of the following methods:

  • By running the laptop package provided by the administrator (for laptop users)

  • By running the installation package that was created from the Download Manager application

  • By using the CommCell Console

Exception: 32-bit Windows computers that have the File System Core package installed do not require the VPN software. The File System Core provides the VPN functionality for 32-bit computers.
