Effect of Deprecation
Starting on June 15, 2023, Commvault will no longer support the Exchange Mailbox Archiver Agent. You cannot install the Exchange Mailbox Archiver Agent, but you can upgrade or continue to use it as-is.
Note
You can continue to use the Exchange Mailbox Archiver Agent without support.
Replacement
This functionality is now available in the Exchange Mailbox Agent. For more information, see Exchange Mailbox Agent.
If you have the Exchange Mailbox Archiver Agent installed on an existing client, you cannot upgrade the agent to the current software version. You must deconfigure the Exchange Mailbox Archiver Agent before you upgrade the client.
After you upgrade the client, you can perform recovery operations only with the deconfigured agent.
You cannot perform archive jobs with this agent.
