Snapshot Copy

A Snapshot Copy is a backup plan copy for IntelliSnap backup operations. To use a Snapshot Copy, create the Snapshot Copy with the steps below and run a backup copy operation to copy the data from the snapshot to the selected media.

Use the following steps to create a Snapshot copy for a backup plan:

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Plans.

    The Plans page appears.

  2. In the Plan name column, select a backup plan.

    The Overview page of the backup plan appears.

  3. Go to Backup destinations tab.

  4. In the Backup destinations tile, click Add and then click Snap copy.

    The Add snapshot copy dialog box appears.

  5. In the Name box, type a name for the snapshot copy.

  6. From the Storage list, select a storage.

  7. Click Save.
