You can use the Commvault software to back up and restore Microsoft SharePoint Online.
- Create and upload the Azure certificate for your Azure apps within the SharePoint Online app to ensure uninterrupted backups and restores.
- For existing clients, you can generate an Azure certificate from the Command Center for your Azure apps.

Supported Regions

Authentication
You can only use modern authentication to access data for backups and restores.
Retention
Data is retained according to the Microsoft 365 plan that you assign to a site when you add it to the SharePoint Online app in Commvault. The default value for data retention is indefinite. You can modify that value to limit the amount of time that data is retained.
