What happens if I change the Space Allocation Option?
Demand Allocation is the default behavior of the allocation policy of snapshots for the HPE EVA storage array. When you take a snapshot of a volume using the IntelliSnap feature, the snapshot creation remains the same even if the space allocation option is modified.
For example, if the option is set to create fully allocated snapshots and you run the snapshot backup operation, the snapshots created for the volume are fully allocated, even if the option is modified to create on demand allocated snapshots.
