The Commvault Certificate Tool logs activities to the CvCertTool.log file, which found in the standard Commvault Log Files folder. To troubleshoot certificate issues, you can use the CVCertTool.log file . If a workspace folder is used to perform an action, the utility will also log the same information to another log file in the workspace's logs folder.

The configure-tomcat action invokes the Commvault SetupWebConsole script to make changes to Tomcat's server.xml configuration file. A backup copy of the original server.xml file is created in the original folder location before changes are made. In addition to logging performed by the tool, additional logging related to the configure-tomcat action can be found in the SetupTools.log file used by the script.
