This procedure is not needed for versions of VMware vRealize Automation after 7.6.
To enable file recovery, the vRealize administrator must provide the Browse URL that is used for file recovery.
Note
Users can only recover files from the latest backup.
Procedure

In the vRealize Automation Portal, on the Design tab, select Resource Actions.

Select File Level Restore and click Edit.
The File Level Restore - Edit Resource Action dialog box appears.

On the Form tab, click the plus icon.
The New Form dialog box appears.

From the Screen type list, select Submitted action details, and then click Submit.

From the palette, drag the BrowseURL under Outputs into the form.

If necessary, you can use the palette to change properties such as the label (for example, VM Browse URL) or the type (for example, Link).

Click Finish.
