Resource view provides an overview of the configured drives for tape libraries or configured mount paths for disk and cloud libraries.
Resource View for Tape Libraries
Resource View for tape libraries displays the list of configured drives in the library. For each drive, the drive information and the drive status in real-time, is displayed. Drive information includes details such as the name, type, etc. Drive status includes details of the operation phase of drive that show the specific actions that are occurring on the drive, such as such as writing/verifying/reading OML, loading, unloading, etc. Additionally, when a job is in progress, media information including the barcode\identifier of the media and Job ID associated with the job currently using the media is also displayed.
Displaying the Resource View for Tape Libraries

From the CommCell Browser, expand Storage Resources > Libraries > <tape_library>.

Click the appropriate <master_pool> .
The Resource View will be displayed in the right pane.
Resource View for Disk and Cloud Libraries
Resource View for Disk and cloud libraries displays the list of configured mount paths. For each mount path, the mount path details and the mount path status in real-time, is displayed. Mount path details includes the actual mount path, device name, capacity, free space, etc. Mount path status includes information on the current status of the mount path, jobs currently using the mount path, number of streams, and the MediaAgent used to run the job.
A graphical view of the data available in the disk library is also displayed. This includes a graphical representation of space usage and data distribution by copies.
Displaying the Resource View for Disk and Cloud Libraries

From the CommCell Browser, expand Storage Resources | Libraries |<Library> .
The Resource View will be displayed in the right pane.
