After you install the Exchange package, you must add the Exchange Mailbox (Classic) Agent to the client where you installed the package.
After you add the Exchange Mailbox (Classic) Agent, configure the agent, run a basic backup operation, and then restore the backed up messages to make sure that the agent is configured correctly and working as expected.
