You can control pruning of aged data on a mount path during peak backup hours. When pruning is disabled, ongoing pruning and future pruning operations are prevented.
Note
You can disable ongoing pruning operations only on version 11 MediaAgents.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Storage Resources > Libraries > Library.

Right-click the appropriate mount path and then click Properties.
The Mount Path Properties dialog box is displayed.

On the Allocation Policy tab, clear the Enable pruning of aged data check box to prevent pruning.

Click OK.
