You can add a global setting from the Command Center.
Before You Begin
Verify that your CommCell user account has following permissions:

Administrative Management permission at the CommCell level
-
Agent Management permission at the Commserve client computer level.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Manage > System.

Click the Additional settings tile.
The Additional settings page appears.

Click the Add button, and then select Global settings.
The Add global settings page appears.

In the Name box, enter the name of the global setting.
To add a custom key that is not predefined, type the name of the custom key and then select the name from the suggestion list.

In the Value box, enter the value for the global setting.

Click Save.

If the modification requires a restart of the Commserve computer, you must restart the Commvault services on the Commserve computer.
