Use the following procedure to update a credential in a built-in credential vault.
You can update the following:

Credential name
-
User name
-
Password
-
Security details
Before You Begin

Add a credential entity to Credential Manager.
For information about creating a new credential, see Adding a Credential to a Built-in Credential Vault.

Only the owner of an account can change the ownership of an account.
If you need to change a credential owner, see Changing Credential Ownership.

When updating the account information, you cannot change the account type.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Security.
The Security page appears.

Click the Credential vault tile.
The Manage credentials page appears.

Click the required credential you want to update.

In the Overview tab, click the edit icon in the General pane.
The Edit credential dialog box appears.

Update the credentials.

Click Save.
Notes
- Editing a credential updates its configuration but does not change where the credential is used. Credential associations are managed from the configuration of the consuming entities.
- The Associations tab provides a read-only view of all entities that are currently using the credential. When a credential is in active use, appropriate messages explain why it cannot be deleted.
