The Storage Growth Report provides consolidated information for both disk and cloud libraries in the CommCell environment. The report displays available capacity, current status, the projected date when a library will reach full capacity, and month-over-month data growth.
To calculate the monthly growth rate, the system uses a least squares fit algorithm to determine the slope of data points from the previous six months. The data from the oldest month and the current month are excluded from the calculation unless they are the only data points available.
