Commvault protects Databricks environments in Azure. You can use this capability to back up and restore Databricks workspaces, catalogs, tables, and views.

Backups

During a full backup, Commvault protects:

All supported configuration objects and metadata for the selected workspaces

All selected Delta table data

During an incremental backup, Commvault protects:

All supported configuration objects and metadata for the selected workspaces

Incremental changes to Delta table data

Restores
You can restore the following Databricks content:

Data restores: Restore catalogs, schemas, and Delta tables in place or to a different workspace, catalog, or schema in the same Databricks account.

Workspace restores: Create workspaces from backup, including all protected objects.
