Configuring Continuous Replication for VMs Using HPE Zerto

To protect your VM data during a potential disaster or planned downtime, Commvault provides a lightweight integration with HPE Zerto. This integration allows you to launch the Zerto portal directly from the Command Center to configure and monitor continuous replication workflows.

Deploy Zerto Virtual Manager Appliance

Deploy the Zerto Virtual Manager (ZVM) appliance and get the URL to the management interface. For more information, see ZVM Appliance Requirements, Supported Features & Configurations.

Configure Access to Zerto in Commvault

To enable Zerto portal access from the Command Center, configure the following CommCell setting:

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > System.

  2. Click the Settings tile.

  3. Click Add, and then CommCell settings.

  4. In the Name box, enter zertoConsoleUrl, and then select the name from the suggestion list.

    Note

  5. In the Category box, select CommServDB.GxGlobalParam.

  6. In the Type box, select String.

  7. In the Value box, enter the ZVM appliance management interface URL.
