Commvault Cloud Account Lifecycle

The user associated with a company that owns the CommCell license can access the Cloud Services Portal with a cloud account. The user can access the account as long as the CommCell license remains active. Commvault reserves the right to revoke a user's cloud account for any valid reason, without any prior notice.

A user account remains active when the user logs on the account at least once a year (365 days). If the user does not log on for over a year (365 days), then a warning email will be sent to the user that says the account will be deleted within 30 days of inactivity. A second reminder email will be sent 15 days after the first warning email. To retain the cloud account, the user must log on to the Cloud Services Portal at least one time before the 30-day warning period ends. If a user logs on during the 30-day period, the account remains active for another year starting from the first log-on day.

When the user fails to log on within the warning period, the account is permanently deleted. To restore access to the cloud account, you must recreate the account and manually associate any pre-existing CommCell associations that you require.
