As a general guideline, begin planning the expansion of HyperScale X storage pools by adding additional nodes when the storage capacity on existing nodes reaches approximately 75%.
In addition, plan for storage pool expansion at least six months before the projected full capacity is reached. This provides sufficient time for hardware procurement, delivery, and deployment.
