You can register a remote CommCell environment that is present in the same network when ports 8400 and 8403 are open.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, right-click the CommServe node, and then click All Tasks > CommCell Registration.
The CommCell Registration dialog box appears.

Click Add.
The Register remote CommCell dialog box appears.

In the CommCell Host Name box, enter the host name or IP address of the Command Center of the remote CommCell environment .

In the User Name box, enter the user name to access the remote CommCell environment.

In the Password box, enter the password for the above user account.

If the remote CommCell environment is across a firewall in the same network with port 8400 closed or the remote Commcell is in a different network, select the Select CommServe client located across a firewall checkbox, and then select the client computer from the list.

Click OK.
The successful registration prompt appears.

Click OK.
The remote CommCell environment appears in the list of registered CommCell environments in the CommCell Registration dialog box.

Click OK.
Result
The remote CommServe computer appears as a deconfigured client computer under the Client Computers node and the Client Computer Groups node in the CommCell Browser.
