Application Consistent Backups Using GC Persistent Disk Snapshots

You can perform crash-consistent snapshot backups to compute instances that are hosted on a Google Cloud using the Virtual Server Agent. You can perform application-consistent snapshot backups for persistent disk volumes using Commvault application agents.

You can use the Commvault IntelliSnap functionality to perform the following snapshot operations with Google Cloud as a snapshot engine.

• IntelliSnap backup operations with all supported device types and data types

• IntelliSnap restore operations and revert operations
