System Requirements for the NetApp E-Series/LSI Storage Array with REST API Support

Before you configure your storage array, verify that your environment meets the following requirements.

Licenses

Install the following licenses.

Snapshot Type	License
PiT (Point-in-Time)	Enable the default Premium features

Use the following version and firmware.

Array	Version and Firmware
NetApp E-Series/LSI	NetApp E-Series E5712

Use one of the following protocols.

Array	Protocol
NetApp E-Series/LSI	Fibre Channel iSCSI

For snapshot operations, open port 8443 (HTTPS) between the server computers, Proxy MediaAgents, and client computers.
