Add a Namespace Group for YugabyteDB

You can create a YugabyteDB namespace group for data that has different backup requirements.

When you complete the big data guided setup, a default subclient is created for YugabyteDB.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.

   The Big data page appears.

2. Click the YugabyteDB cluster.

   The cluster page appears.

3. On the Namespace groups tab, in the upper-right corner of the page click Add namespace group.

   The Add namespace group page appears.

4. In the Name box, enter a name for the namespace group.

5. In the Namespace box, click Browse.

   The Add subclient content page appears.

6. Click Add, and then click Browse.

   The Add content page appears.

7. Select the required namespaces, and then click Save.

8. From the Plan list, select the backup plan to use for the namespace group.

9. Click Save.
