System Created Deferred Catalog Schedule Policy

An automatic deferred catalog schedule policy is created when you install a new CommServe. The schedule policy runs automatic snapshot cataloging operation for associated storage policy copies with object storage destination as target. The snapshot cataloging operation runs on Continuous schedule, at 30-minute time intervals. By default, the schedule policy is set to run snapshot cataloging for maximum number of jobs simultaneously.

Modifying the System Created Deferred Catalog Schedule

1. From the CommCell Browser, navigate to Policies and then click Schedule Policies.

2. Right click the System Created Deferred Catalog schedule in the right pane and click Edit.

   By default, the Continuous option is selected, and snapshot cataloging operation runs at 30 minutes interval.

3. To add a new schedule or modify the existing schedule in the schedule policy as follows:

   1. To add a new schedule, in the General tab, click the Add button.

   2. To modify an existing schedule, click the schedule in the Tasks section and then click the Edit button.

4. Click OK.
