Use this dialog box to add a shared network folder.
Device Name
A unique device name generated by the system for the network folder.
MediaAgent
The name of the MediaAgent that will access the network folder.
Windows Sharing Folder

Local Path
Click to select a local path as the mount path for the MediaAgent.
Folder
The local path that will be used by the MediaAgent to access the mount path, when the MediaAgent is a Windows MediaAgent. (Use the browse button to access the Browse for Mount Path dialog box which allows you to select the network path.)

Network Path
Click to select a network path as the mount path for the MediaAgent.
Connect As
The user name that must be used by the MediaAgent to access the network path.
Password
The password for the specified user name.
Verify Password
Confirmation of the password for the specified user name
Folder
The network path that will be used by the MediaAgent to access the mount path, when the MediaAgent is a Windows MediaAgent. (Use the browse button to access the Browse for Mount Path dialog box which allows you to select the network path.)
Preferred
When selected, this device controller will have the high priority for both backup and pruning jobs.
Read Only
Applies to mount paths configured on replicated disks. When selected, indicates that the network path is used for read-only purposes.
