Including the Denylist File in Backups on UNIX

On UNIX computers, you can filter specific files and folders from backup jobs by adding the files and folders to the /etc/cv_backup_denylist file. By default, the /etc/cv_backup_denylist file is not included in backup jobs. To include the /etc/cv_backup_denylist file in backup jobs, you must add an additional setting.

Procedure

• To the CommServe computer, add the AllowBackupDenylistFile additional setting as shown in the following table.
