You can use an Azure user-managed identity to obtain authentication tokens for backups and restore operations. You must use the user-managed identity that is provided with the required Azure RBAC permissions for the backup and restore operations.
To enable the Azure user-managed identity, configure one of the following additional settings on the VM by adding it to the client computer. For instructions about adding an additional setting from the CommCell Console, see Adding an Additional Setting from the CommCell Console.
