Changing the Cloud CommCell Role Manager for Your Commvault ID

If the only user that is listed as a Cloud CommCell role manager for a CommCell environment leaves the organization, contact Customer Support.

We can demote their user account and promote a different, existing user account as the new Cloud CommCell role manager. The new CommCell role manager can then add or remove users, as needed.

Procedure

  • From the Maintenance Advantage Customer Support Portal, contact Customer Support with the following information:

    • CommCell ID

    • Company Name

    • Name and email address for the user that should be demoted

    • Name and email address for the user that should be promoted
