With Credential Manager, you can create an entity to store, share, and update account credentials for shared resources in your environment.
After a credential entity is created, authorized users can use the entity to configure backups of share drives or other resources. Also, if your business has a password change policy that forces you to update a password on a regular basis, the credential owner can update the login details of the credential entity in Credential Manager. The updated account information is reflected wherever the credential entity is used in your CommCell environment.
