MediaAgent Hardware Refresh - Setting Up the New MediaAgent

You can set up a new MediaAgent.

Procedure

1. Install the MediaAgent software.

   1. Install the latest service pack.

   2. Configure a firewall.

2. Move the DDB to the new MediaAgent.

3. Migrate libraries to the new MediaAgent.

4. Set the new MediaAgent as a data path.

5. Copy the contents of the index cache directory from the old MediaAgent to the new MediaAgent.

6. Enable job activities.
