Locked User Account With a Mount Path Operation

Symptom

User account is locked during a mount path operation with the following error in the Event Viewer:

Cannot logon the user [<ip address>\<user name>] interactively onto the domain.Error [1326][Logon failure: unknown user name

Cause

To establish connection to a shared mount path on a Windows MediaAgent, interactive login rights are needed.

Resolution

1. From the MediaAgent computer in which the error is reported, add the EnableLogonNewCredentials additional setting as shown in the following table.

2. Restart the services in the MediaAgent computer.
