Effect of Deprecation
You cannot content index any new data with a FAST content indexing engine, and you cannot search data that was content indexed using a FAST content indexing engine. After you upgrade to the latest version of the search engine software, you must re-pick the backup jobs for the data that was content indexed using the FAST content indexing engine to re-index the data in the new search engine to re-enable searches.
