Configuring a Storage Policy for Cataloging Snapshots

To catalog snapshots, configure the storage policy associated with the File System subclient.

Before You Begin

• You cannot use an incremental storage policy for cataloging snapshots.

• Cataloging snapshots is not supported for deleted subclients and deconfigured File System clients.

Procedure

1. Right-click the storage_policy and click Properties.

2. Click the Snapshot tab, and then click the Deferred Catalog subtab.

3. Select the Enable Deferred Snap Cataloging check box and configure the options to catalog the snapshot.

4. Click OK.
