Caution
After January 2019, Commvault users will not be able to access the web-based version of the CommCell Console using Java 11. For more information, see CC0013: Java Deprecation Warning Appears after Installing New Java Version.
The CommCell Console can be configured for web access from the CommServe computer or an alternate computer. After configuration is completed, users can access the CommCell Console using the Java Web Start application from any computer that can communicate with the CommServe.
Important: The Java Web Start application may fail to launch if the Java cache contains corrupted files. To resolve this issue, open the Java Control Panel (located in the Windows Control Panel) and delete all Temporary Internet Files. Then, close and re-launch the CommCell Console.
