Adding the Exchange Public Folder Agent

After you install the Exchange package, add the Exchange Public Folder Agent to the client where the package is installed. In this procedure, the Exchange Public Folder Agent is referred to as the agent.

Before You Begin

Gather the information that you need to complete the procedure.


  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers.
  2. Right-click the client, and then click All Tasks > Create New Application Type > agent_name.

    A message appears that asks you if you want to create the application type.

  3. Click Yes.

    The agent appears below the client.

  4. Right-click the agent, and then click Properties.

    The Properties dialog box appears.

  5. Configure the agent based on the information that you collected.

After you add and configure the Exchange Public Folder Agent, perform any other required configurations.
