Creating a Client Computer Group for Case Manager Assets

When Compliance Search users create a case, they add one or more assets to the case. These assets refer to clients in the CommCell Console. To see which clients have been added to a case, use this procedure to create a smart client computer group for clients that have been added as assets to a case in Case Manager.

Note: Clients will appear in the group after a successful reference copy job has been performed.


  1. Create a smart client computer group. See Creating a Smart Client Computer Group.
  2. In the Rule Group section, select Case Manager Hold Group from the list and ensure the value is set to Is True.

After reference copy jobs are performed on the clients that are added as assets in Case Manager, the client appear in the Case Manager Hold smart client group.
