Enabling the Autodiscovery of Mailboxes
To discover mailboxes automatically, enable autodiscovery on the Exchange Online client. After you enable autodiscovery, when a backup operation runs for one of the mailboxes, users groups are autodiscovered and included in the backup.
- From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Applications > Office 365.
The Office 365 page appears.
- Select the Exchange client that you want to enable autodiscovery for, and then click Auto Discover Associations.
The client user groups page appears.
- Select the group that you want to enable autodiscovery for,and then click Manage.
The Edit Association dialog box appears.
- From the Exchange plan list, select the Exchange mailbox plan that you want to use for the user group.
- Click Save.
