Deconfiguring a Database Instance

Applies to: Oracle, Oracle RAC, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA, and SQL Server

You can deactivate a specific instance of the database, by deconfiguring the instance from the Command Center.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases > DB Instances.

    The Instances page appears.

  2. On the Instances tab, from the View list next to Instances, select the database type.

    The Instances page for the database type appears.

  3. Click an instance.

    The instance properties page appears.

  4. In the upper-right area of the page, click the action button action_button, and then click Deconfigure.

    The Confirm deconfiguration dialog box appears.

  5. Click Yes.
