Creating a Workflow Schedule Policy

You can create a workflow schedule policy to run one or more workflows to according to the same schedules.

Note: Schedules created with a workflow schedule policy only appear in under schedule policies. They do not appear in the schedules view for the workflows associated to the schedule policy.

Before You Begin

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Policies.
  2. Right-click Schedule Policies, and then click New Schedule Policy.

    The New Schedule Policy dialog box appears.

  3. In the Name box, type a name for the schedule policy.
  4. From the Type list, select Workflow.
  5. In the Description box, type an appropriate description.
  6. Click Add.

    The Options dialog box appears.

  7. In the Schedule Name box, type a name, and then select the appropriate scheduling options.
  8. Click OK.
  9. From the New Schedule Policy dialog box, click the Associations tab.
  10. Click Add.

    The Create Workflow Inputs dialog box appears.

  11. In the Title box, type a title for the workflow association.
  12. Click the Workflows list, and then select a workflow.
  13. Under Inputs, configure the workflow inputs.
  14. Click OK.
  15. In the New Schedule Policy dialog box, click OK.
